Norbert Stelzer
Norbert Stelzer is a Founder and Managing Partner of Ingenium Capital. He has been working in private equity since 1987. Norbert Stelzer was a co-founder and Managing Director of Odewald, Hammermann & Stelzer (now Odewald & Compagnie), a highly successful German mid-cap private equity fund rated top quartile of European buyout funds (vintage 1997). During his tenure from 1996 to 2003, Odewald & Compagnie made six investments totalling approx. € 80 M, 15 add-on investments and two exits.

From 1992 to 1995, Norbert Stelzer worked as Director at Deutsche Handelsbank AG. He was co-responsible for the private equity and corporate finance department of the investment bank and served as a member of the Investment Committee. He was personally involved in several private equity and mezzanine investments as well as M&A advisory mandates.
Norbert Stelzer started his career in private equity as Investment Manager at Matuschka Group (1987 to 1991), where he originated, structured and analysed mid-cap transactions.
From 1981 to 1987, Norbert Stelzer worked at Ernst & Young in Boston and Munich. His work included audits, company valuations as well as advisory work concerning acquisitions and divestitures. While at Ernst & Young, Mr. Stelzer qualified as a Certified Public Accountant and as Wirtschaftsprüfer and Steuerberater (German chartered accountant and tax advisor).
He holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and an MBA from Kansas State University.
